How to Fold Prefold Diapers - Angel Fold Style
Whenever new parents come to our store, one of the first things we like to do is show them how to fold Prefold Diapers. A quick, easy demonstration often puts parents' minds to rest that using Prefold Diapers does not have to be so difficult.

Now, we are happy to have an online video as well as photos to share our folding demonstration with you. Our model is a doll who is approximately the size of a 23-inch-baby. She's wearing a size small cover. Most babies reach this size between 4-8 weeks of age.

Photo Instructions for Folding Prefold Diapers
Step 1 Line up the short side of the prefold diaper straight across the back of the cover
Step 1: Line Diaper up with Cover

Step 2 Slide diaper underneath baby
Step 2: Slide Diaper under Baby

Step 3 Fold diaper into thirds to fit between the legs. This creates a pocket that helps keep poo off the cover.
Step 3: Fold into Thirds between Legs

Step 4 Pull diaper up towards the belly button. When the baby is smaller, the diaper will be too tall in front, so proceed to next step.
Step 4: Pull diaper to Belly Button

Step 5 Flip excess diaper downward and outward. Fan sides over the hips.
Step 5: Flip Diaper Downward and Fan Over Hips

Step 6 Attach the cover. Make sure to tuck in any part of the diaper that is sticking out.
Step 6: Attach Cover, Poke in any Diaper Sticking Out
Done!
